The Greenhouse**
We are always looking for men and women to teach in The Greenhouse. We offer age-specific classes for children 3 years through 5th grade with a Christ-focused curriculum that is bound to teach and encourage the children of our church and have them wanting to return next week to learn more!
AWANA Ministry**
If you’re great with kids and you want to help make a difference in the life of a child, AWANA is a great place to plug in. Our clubbers may come from within the congregation, but many come from the greater community and may not live in a Christian home. Our AWANA program ministers to children 3 years old through 5th grade, making a lasting impact on them through scripture memory and relationship building.
Small Group Leaders
If you are looking for an opportunity to reach people around you or to help others to grow, we are always in need of people who are willing to open their homes to host or facilitate small group Bible studies. These Bible studies minister to people in various stages of life.
Meal Ministry
Sometimes the simplest gesture takes a huge weight off for those families experiencing health concerns or walking a difficult path. This is where the meal ministry gets to work. If you volunteer to help with meals ministry, you will be occasionally called upon to provide a single meal to folks experiencing an unusual amount of stress due to medical issues, pregnancy, grief, etc. We are always looking for more people to help. It’s a simple way to show support and love to the members.
Also, if you know of someone in the church who may benefit from meals being delivered to their homes, please contact the church office and provide us with their name and a contact number.
Fall Fun Festival
Every year, we host the Fall Fun Festival, a great source of family entertainment and reaching out in a positive way to our neighborhood and beyond. The Fall Festival is a fun and exciting block party and an enormous job, so we cannot pull it off without lots of volunteers. Donate candy, man a booth, help with set up, be a blessing in the community. This event is a key outreach for DRBC and has been hosted on our grounds for years. It also happens to be tons of fun!
Community Outreach
We should all strive to make a positive impact on our community and show the love of Christ to those around us. To that end, the members of DRBC get together regularly to complete service projects in the Del Rio area. However, you don’t need to wait on us. Contact one of the organizations from our Volunteer Opportunities list to volunteer your time and make a difference today.
