The Safest Place to Be
Bible Text: Acts 22:23-23:11 | Preacher: Pastor Joe Ricchuiti | Series: Acts, The Safest Place to Be
1. We often feel that we are at the mercy of the people, circumstances, and institutions in our lives, but as believers we need to grasp that we are in God’s hands ultimately, not theirs. God is in control of our lives and comes in our hour of need.
2. As He did at other decisive points in Paul’s life, the Lord encourages him to “Take courage!”
3. Several times in Jesus’ ministry He encouraged those in need (physical need, emotional need, spiritual need) by telling them to “Take courage!”
4. We can live without fear and with courage by remembering God is in control of our lives and that we are promised Jesus’ presence in our lives.
